JAM 2025: Registration process begins today at jam2025.iitd.ac.in

JAM 2025 Application: The JAM Online Application Processing System (JOAPS) for JAM 2025 will begin today (September 3). Candidates can apply for the Joint Admission Test for Masters (JAM) through the “Candidate Portal” on the official website – jam2025.iitd.ac.in. The last date for registration is October 11.

Candidates will first need to register themselves on the JOAPS website by filling in the credentials like name, email address, mobile number and password. Once the registration is successful, the candidate’s enrolment ID and OTP will be sent to the e-mail address and mobile number for verification. This enrollment ID, email address and password will be used later for submission of the application, hence, should be kept safe and confidential.

JAM 2025: Steps to apply

Step 1: Log in to your profile after completion of your registration process.

Step 2: Fill in the credentials like personal information, parents name and address.

Step 3: Upload the candidate's photograph and signature along with the category certificate (if applicable) and proof of date of birth.

Step 4: Complete the payment of the application fee through electronic payment mode.

Step 5: Check the status of the application form as completed and download it for the future.

Important points to note

– Candidates must submit an active email address and mobile number for communication purposes as all the details and information will be shared through them only.

– One candidate only from one email address can be registered.

– The candidates must submit only one application form even if they insist on appearing in two test papers. Multiple applications may lead to rejection.

– The aspirants are expected to check the official website as well as their email and SMS regularly for any new information.

The application fees for females, SC, ST, and PwD for one test paper is Rs 900 which increases to Rs 1250 for two test papers. For all other categories, the fee is Rs 1800 for one paper and Rs 2500 for two test papers. The fee applicable for changing the examination cities, test papers, category or gender is Rs 300.
