When is JEE Advanced 2023?
The advanced exam is scheduled to be conducted on June 4. Paper 1 will be held from 9 am to 12 pm, and paper 2 is scheduled from 2:30 pm till 5:30 pm on the same day.
When is JEE Advanced registration starting?
The Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati will begin registration for JEE Advanced 2023 at 10 am of April 30 and conclude at 5 pm of May 07. The last date for fee payment of registered candidates is May 8.
What is the exam format for JEE Advanced 2023?
Both paper 1 and paper 2 will be held in Computer-based test (CBT) mode.
When will JEE Advanced 2023 admit card release?
The admit cards will be available at the official website from 10 am of May 29 till 2:30 pm of June 4.
Has IIT Guwahati released the schedule for JEE advanced results?
Yes, the copy of candidate responses will be available on the JEE Advanced 2023 website at 5 pm of June 9, after which the provisional answer key will be released on June 11. Candidates will have time till June 12 to raise objections, after which the final answer key will be released on June 18.
Do OCI/PIO candidates need to appear for JEE Advanced 2023?
The Overseas Citizen of India/ Person of Indian Origin (OCI/PIO) candidates are eligible to appear directly for JEE (Advanced) 2023 without appearing in JEE (Main) 2023. This measure will be applicable only for this year, informed IIT Guwahati.
Will candidates have to re-appear for JEE Main 2023 to be eligible for JEE Advanced 2023, even if I registered but didn’t appear for the 2022 exam?
You must qualify for JEE (Main) 2023 in order to be eligible for JEE (Advanced) 2023. You also need to satisfy all the other eligibility criteria mentioned in the information brochure.
Am I eligible for Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT) without appearing for JEE Advanced 2023, even if I appeared for JEE Main 2023?
No, only the candidates who qualify for JEE (Advanced) 2023 are eligible for AAT 2023. There is no relation between JEE (Main) BArch and/or BPlanning exams and AAT.
Is it compulsory to appear for Papers 1 and 2?
Yes, writing both Paper 1 and Paper 2 are compulsory in JEE Advanced 2023.
What is the tie-breaking policy?
If the JEE Advanced 2023 aggregate marks scored by two or more candidates are the same, then the following tie-break policy will be used for awarding ranks:
Step 1: Candidates having higher positive marks will be awarded a higher rank. If the tie-breaking criterion in Step 1 fails to break the tie, then the following criterion in Step 2 will be followed.
Step 2: Higher rank will be assigned to the candidate who has obtained higher marks in Mathematics. If this does not break the tie, a higher rank will be assigned to the candidate who has obtained higher marks in Physics. If there is a tie even after this, candidates will be assigned the same rank.
