KU degree annual results released

Instant exam to be held on July 12
WARANGAL: Kakatiya University Vice-Chancellor B. Venkat Rathnam released the results of Under Graduate annual 2011 examinations held in April/May 2011 on Tuesday morning.

The overall total pass percentage of final years of BA/BSc/BCom/BBM was 31.43 (girls 37.8 per cent; boys 26.5 per cent). Girls outnumbered boys in all the three faculties with 29.3 per cent against 22.1 per cent in BA, 65.4 per cent against 65.03 in BBM, 53.2 per cent against 40 per cent in B. Com and 37.8 against 26.5 in B.Sc.

Prof. Venkat Rathnam said 2,32,936 students had appeared for the examinations and the results were kept on website www.kakatiya.ac.in; www.kuwarangal.com; www.kuexams.com.

While declaring the date of instant examination as July 12, he said that it would be exclusively for the students who had failed in only one theory paper of final year and passed all the papers of first and second years.

The last date for payment of fee for instant examination is July 5 and the fee is Rs. 300. Registrar K. Sayulu, Controller of Examinations K. David, and Additional Controller of Examinations A. Ragan were present.
