Manipal University: 1st Indian Private University in top 100 BRICS Rankings

Manipal University, Manipal, developed as the top private college in the nation in an overview by Education World distributed in its May release.

Edu newsThe magazine has secured the main 100 colleges, main 100 designing universities and 50 best B-Schools. With top appraisals in four of the seven parameters of perfection, Manipal University was declared as the best by 4,465 specimen respondents in the Education World India Private University Rankings (EWIPUR) 2016.

In the positioning a year ago, Manipal University was behind BITS, Pilani and IIIT, Hyderabad, while Manipal Institute of Technology, Manipal, has been positioned 6th. The four parameters that Manipal University was superior to the rest were - staff welfare and improvement, skill of workforce, base and offices and examination and development.

Around a month back, Manipal College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Manipal (MCOPS), was positioned the top drug store school in the nation by the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF), endorsed by the Union Ministry of Human Resource Development.

An elated Chancellor, Dr. Ramdas M Pai said, we are planning to make an imprint on the planet rankings and this is the starting. Ideally, it won't be too much sooner than we figure in worldwide rankings. He was glad that the college has bounced to the top spot from the third position a year ago. I am to a great degree upbeat that we are the best in four of the seven parameters. Everybody has attempted to make this conceivable, he said.
