The images of the question paper were leaked on social media, while students are writing their Marathi exam. On 28th February 2017 approximately 15lakh students appeared in the Maharashtra Class 12 board examination. As the question paper leaked, board has registered a official complaint and the police will now conduct an inquiry and register the case accordingly.
The images of the question paper were leaked on social media at 10:46 AM, but the question paper was given to the students at 10:50 AM. Dattatray Jagtap, divisional chairperson of the board said that they have already submitted all the images that received and filed a complaint with police.
Sanjay Chavan sub-inspector, Varshi Police Station said the board officials have submitted the official complaint and we will start the inquiry and register a case accordingly.
Siddheshwar Chandekar, divisional secretary, Maharashtra state board said we have asked the cops to find out where the paper came from, it might not have necessarily been from Mumbai
The class 12 exams will be concluded by March 25, while the class 10 examinations will begin from March 7 and will continue till April 1.
