NEET UG 2023: China has since long been one of the most popular study abroad destinations for Indian medical students. While the numbers would have decreased slightly due to the Coronavirus pandemic, China has still managed to stay one of the most popular study abroad destinations for Indian medical students.
Eligibility:
— At least 50 per cent aggregate score in Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects in Class 12
— NEET qualified (50 percentiler)
— Medical clearance against any contagious diseases.
— The minimum age requirement is 17 years.
Course structure:
An MBBS degree in China is usually five year long, along with one year of internship. The internship year is compulsory for all students to get their degree certificate.
Admission process:
To secure a seat in an MBBS programme in any of the Chinese universities, candidates need to first choose an institute and then fill out the application form for that varsity. While the NEET score is necessary, IELTS is not mandatory to pursue MBBS in China. However, the student should learn English.
