NEET UG 2024 counselling registration begins at mcc.nic.in for MBBS, BDS, BSc (Nursing) seats

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) today, August 14 started the counselling application for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2024. The NEET UG 2024 counselling is held for admissions to MBBS, BDS and BSc Nursing programmes. 

NEET UG 2024 qualified and eligible candidates are required to register on the MCC website – mcc.nic.in to participate in the counselling process for the allotment of seat

The NEET UG 2024 counselling process begins with the verification of the tentative seat matrix by participating institutes on August 14-15, 2024. Candidates must register and make payments between August 14 and August 20, 2024.

The choice filling and locking process runs from August 16 to August 20, 2024, with candidates required to finalize their selections, locking them between 4 pm and 11.55 pm on August 20. During the choice-filling period, candidates are required to prioritize their preferred colleges and courses based on their NEET UG 2024 scores.

The MCC will process seat allotments on August 21-22, 2024, and the results will be announced on August 23, 2024. Candidates allotted seats must report to their respective colleges between August 24 and August 29, 2024, to complete admission formalities.

The NEET UG counselling applications for 2024 begin on August 14, with registrations open until August 19 and the first round of seat allotments to be announced on August 23

Finally, verification of the data for joined candidates by institutes will take place on August 30-31, 2024, followed by data sharing with MCC. The application against the second round of counselling is scheduled to begin on September 4. The NEET UG 2024 counselling process will include three rounds and a stray vacancy round.

This counselling will cover 15 percent all India quota (AIQ) seats, and seats in central and deemed universities, private colleges, Armed Forces Medical Services (AFMS), Employee State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) institutes, AIIMS, and JIPMER.
