NEET-UG in 6 additional languages from 2017-2018, says Health Ministry: The Union Health Ministry on Wednesday said NEET-UG will be directed in eight dialects from the 2017-18 scholarly year.
Edu newsThe eight dialects are Hindi, English, Gujarati, Marathi, Bengali, Assamese, Telugu and Tamil.
"Under the headings of Health Minister J P Nadda, and after thorough and broad discussions with state governments about their examination design and other related angles, it has been chosen that the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG) from AY 2017-18 will be led in taking after 8 dialects," said the announcement.
Notwithstanding this, the Ministry said the hopeful qualifying NEET would be qualified for All-India standard and different portions under the state governments/Institutes regardless of the medium in which the exam was taken by the applicant, subject to other qualification criteria.
"NEET and its execution in provincial dialects is the result of the administration's dedication of realizing straightforwardness in restorative instruction and expelling acts of neglect," said the announcement.
