National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) 2017 has declared the results of the written entrance examination which was conducted on 12th February 2017 on its official website, http://nift.ac.in/. The entrance examination is conducted for admission to Bachelor of Design (BDes), Master of Design (MDes), Bachelor of Fashion Technology (BFTech.), Master of Fashion Technology (MFTech.), and Master of Fashion Management (MFM).
How to check NIFT Entrance Exam Results 2017:
1) Visit the official website.
2) Click on the relevant link.
3) Enter roll number, date of birth and application number and click on Submit.
4) Candidates can see the results will be displayed on the screen.
5) Take a printout for future use

Selection process:
1) The BDes candidates will be called for second test called situation test on the basis of GAT and CAT. For BFTech, GAT will be the final test for selection
2) MDes candidates will take GAT and CAT. On the basis of the result, they will then be called for group discussion/personal interview.
Also, the institute has released an admission notification inviting applications from interested, eligible candidates to apply for its Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) programme in design, management and technology as applied with broad reference to textiles, fashion, lifestyle and apparel sectors of the industry for the academic session 2017.
