Only 4 grades to be awarded SSC

The grading System for SSC public exams will undergo major changes this year. While the SSC Board ha awarded nine grades to students based on their performances last year this time there will be only four grade.

After sine academic experts pointed out the defects in the existing grading system the SSC Board has proposed to the government to convert the present realistic grading system to a static grading along the lines of the Central Board of Secondary Education.

The board of Intermediate Education has been adopting the four grade system for several years now. The same will be adopted by the SSC Board from this year.

As per the new system SSC students who score 75 percent marks and above will get an A grade. Those who score between 60 percent and 75 percent will be awarded B grade. C grade will be given between 50 percent and 60 percent and students who get between 35 percent and 50 percent will get a D grade.
