OU revised exam schedule announced

Hyderabad: Osmania University on Monday announced a revised examination schedule for postgraduate (PG) and under-graduate (UG) students. The PG semester and UG examinations were stalled midway in January due to Telangana agitations.

Examinations for UG students will be conducted from March 25. In all 3.67 lakh students will appear for the examinations which will be held across 264 centres in the city and five districts of Telangana region. PG-II and IV semester examinations will be held from May 9 while I and III semester exams from May 30. D N Reddy, in-charge OU vice-chancellor, convened a meeting of the principals of the affiliated degree and PG colleges of the university on Monday for the smooth conduct of the examinations.

The VC also appealed to the students to write the examination and cooperate with the university to save the academic year. The detailed exam schedule will be displayed on the OU website (www.osmania.ac.in) shortly.
