OU students seek extension of examination fee date

Students of Osmania University have sought extension of the exam fee date and also promised the University administration that they will give an undertaking that they will pay the fee once they receive the scholorships.
They submitted a representation to Vice-Chancellor S.Satyanarayana. The V-C extended the last date for payment of fee to Wednesday.He also asked the officials to coordinate with the bank so that the money could be recovered form students, who can't pay their fee now, once they receive scholarships directly into their accounts.Another set of sutdents who finished their MCA course from the university met the V-C and requested him to ensure that they got eligibility for Ph.D. courses.
As of now ,MCA students are not allowed to take up Ph.D course as the course is not part of the Informatics stream. Moreover, MCA is self financed course and there is a shortage of faculty. The V-C, however, responded positively and said a decision would be taken soon.
