Punjab NEET UG Counselling 2023: Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS), Faridkot Punjab is conducting the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) UG 2023 counseling for the state. BFUHS has declared the results for provisional allotment for round two on August 28.
Provisionally selected candidates can pay the balance amount of the fee i.e., a six-month fee after deducting the security deposit and report to allotted colleges from today (August 29) till September 4.
“The candidates who did not get upgraded in Round 2 and wanted to resign their seat of Round 1 can do so within a period up to August 30 (till 04:00 pm) with free exit, after which they will be considered as part of Round 2 and same rules will apply on them as applicable for Round 2 counseling. However, any resignation after August 30 (04:00 pm) will be treated as exit with forfeiture of fee,” read the official notice.

The medical college has a small batch of 75 students so that every student will be able to get an equal amount of attention from the teachers. It is a 775 bedded hospital
The Christian Dental College, the dental wing of Christian Medical College was established in 1992. It secured the 30th spot in the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) Rankings 2023 top dental colleges list. The dental college has been admitting 40 students in each batch since 1999.
The Dayanand Medical College admits 100 students every year in the MBBS course through the NEET. The college also offers different courses in the MD/ MS PG course in 19 disciplines and Super Specialties courses in nine disciplines.
The college was established as Arya Medical College in 1934 and in 1936, the medical school was handed over to Arya Samaj. The medical college was recognised for Licentiate of Punjab State Medical Faculty (LSMF) in 1938 and from next year onwards it was called Arya Medical School and the hospital attached to it was called “Dayanand Hospital”. In 1964, Arya Medical School became a full-fledged MBBS college and was known as Dayanand Medical College and Hospital.
