SI Aspirants want age limit revision

Open category candidates want the state government to increase in upper age limit from 25 to 28 years for the ensuing SI recruitment exam.They said the age limit was 28 years till 1996 before the government had reduced it to 25 years. They pointed out that various other states and the Centre have 28 years as the age limit.

The open category candidates’ contention is that the government had released the last SI recruitment notification in 2008, but had conducted the exam only in August this year. With no SI recruitments for last four years, the candidates are demanding the government to increase the upper-age limit, or thousands of aspirants will lose the opportunity to appear for the exams.
