TS ECET 2017 – Counselling Dates, Procedure, Web Options

TS ECET 2017 entrance exam was conducted by JNTU Hyderabad on behalf of TSCHE. The entrance test was conducted on 6th May 2017. The entrance exam is for the students who hold a Diploma Degree or who completed their B.Sc to get lateral admission in to the under graduate courses offered by various engineering colleges. TS ECET 2017 Results are released and web counselling notification for TS ECET 2017 is released for the qualified students.

The counselling is done on the basis of rank obtained by the students. Students are provided with web options containing list of colleges with their ECET Codes. The list of colleges will be based on the rank obtained by the candidate. Applicant can only select the colleges given in the list.

TS ECET Web Counselling 2017

After the release of TS ECET 2017 Results, all the students who are qualified in the entrance test had eagerly waited for TS ECET 2017 web counselling notification. There are many aspirants who wish to pursue their higher education in engineering field. Students who are qualified can find the Counselling Dates from the official website https://tsecet.nic.in/ or from other educational website www.vidyavision.com. TS ECET 2017 Counselling Process

Candidates who are participating in TS ECET 2017 Web Counselling should get a clear idea about the counselling procedure. TS ECET 2017 counselling process is given below:

1) Candidate has to confirm the counselling date and slot in which his/her rank is given.

2) Find the nearest helpline centre.

3) Participate in the TS ECET 2017 Web Counselling on given date & time.

4) Carry all the required and applicable certificates mentioned in notification.

5) All the document and certificates are verified by the officials.

6) Candidate must pay the Web Counselling Application fee and take the receipt.

7) The fee receipt is having the Registration number and password. By using these credentials, you have to enter into the TS ECET 2017 Web Counselling.

8) Check rank wise colleges list available in the web option list.

9) Select the colleges in priority wise from the given list and then click on ‘Submit’.

10) TS ECET 2017 fee receipt should be preserved for future use.

11) Candidate will receive college allotment order by SMS at your registered phone number.

Usually, the seat allotment will be based on the rank, reservation category, no. of vacancies in the college which have issued by JNTU Hyderabad. So, candidates need to download their card and verify the reservation details before attending the Andhra Pradesh ECET Counselling.

Documents & Certificates required for TS ECET 2017 Certificate Verification

Candidates who are participating in TS ECET 2017 Web Counselling should carry the below given certificates and documents for verification. All candidates carry the original certificates and 2 sets of Xerox copies of the following

1) TSECET 2017 Rank Card.

2) TS ECET 2017 Hall Ticket.

3) Aadhaar Card.

4) SSC or its equivalent Marks memo.

5) Diploma / Degree Memorandum of Marks.

6) Diploma / Degree Provisional Certificate.

7) Study Certificate from IV to Diploma (9th class to degree in case of B.Sc).

8) Transfer Certificate (T.C).

9) Income Certificate issued on or after 01.01.2017 by competent authority, if applicable.

10) Integrated Caste Certificate issued by competent authority, if applicable.

11) Physically Challenged (PH) / Children of Armed Forces Personnel (CAP) / National Cadet Crops (NCC) / Sports and Games / Minority certificate, if applicable.

12) Residence certificate of either of parents in Telangana for a period of 10 years in case of Non-Local candidates.

13) Residence Certificate of candidate for a period of 7 years preceding to qualifying examination in case where the candidate has no institutionalized education

Certificates to be produced by PH/CAP/NCC/Sports/Minority Candidates:

i) PH - Certificate issued by District Medical Board. Candidates with 40% and above disability are only eligible.

ii) CAP - Certificate issued by Zilla Sainik Welfare Officer, Identity card and Discharge book (in case of Ex-Service men) and Service Certificate (in case of inservice men) issued by Competent Authority for verification. Candidates whose parents are domiciled in the State of Telangana based on the permanent address/home town declared by them while joining the service and as recorded in their Service Register are alone eligible to be considered under “CAP” Category.

iii) NCC & Sports - Certificates issued by competent authorities.

iv) Minorities: SSC TC containing Minority Status or Certificate from the Head Master.

Note: During Certificate Verification the candidates Aadhaar details (Finger Print Biometric) shall be verified with UIDAI (Unique Identification Authority of India) at the Help Line Centres. Therefore it is mandatory for the candidate to attend for Certificate Verification.

TS ECET 2017 Registration Fee

Candidates who intend to participate in TS ECET 2017 Web Counselling need to pay the TS ECET 2017 Registration Fee mandatorily. The Registration Fee is as given below:

General/ OBC Candidates: Rs. 1000/-.

ST/SC Candidates: Rs. 500/-.
