Candidates who have applied for the exam can download the admit cards from the official website of UGC NET – ugcnet.nta.ac.in.
Earlier, the examination was conducted on June 18, however it was called off on June 19 when the agency found chances of paper leak. It was later revealed that the paper was spread across the dark web two days prior to the exam.
Step 1: Candidates need to visit the official website – ugcnet.nta.ac.in.
Step 2: Click on the “Download admit card“ link once you locate it on the homepage
Step 2: Enter candidate credentials like application number and date of birth.
Step 3: The UGC NET 2024 admit card for the candidate will be displayed on the screen.
Step 4: Candidates need to save and download the admit card as it will be the hall ticket for them on exam day
Candidates are expected to bring the hard copy of the admit card on the day of their exam for entrance to the examination. The examination invigilators will allow candidates inside the premises only if they carry their admit card.
The UGC NET exam will be conducted from August 21 to September 4. The test is conducted twice every year to check the eligibility of candidates for Assistant Professors and Junior Research Fellowship in Indian universities and colleges. The UGC NET June 2024 exam earlier held in pen and paper (offline) mode will now however be held as a computer-based test (CBT).
