UGC NET June 2024: The National Testing Agency (NTA) today issued the admit cards for the University Grants Commission – National Eligibility Test (UGC NET 2024) June session re-exam.
As per NTA, the UGC NET June 2024 exam was cancelled at four centres due to a technical glitch/ flood. The admit cards for the re-exams at these four centres have now been released at the official website — ugcnet.nta.ac.in.
“Admit Card live for Re-examination of UGC – NET June 2024, which was cancelled at 04 centres due to Technical Glitch/Flood. Admit Card for exams dated 21st August to 4th September 2024 are available,” the official website stated.
Step 1: Go to the official website — ugcnet.nta.ac.in
Step 2: On the home page click on the admit card link
Step 3: On the next window, enter the UGC NET application number, date of birth and given security pin.
Step 4: Submit and download the UGC NET admit card.
The four affected centres are Dr. Ghanshyam Singh College of Education in Uttar Pradesh’s Varanasi, Shankara Group of Institutions in Rajasthan’s Jaipur, Amatyas Global IT Solution in Gujarat’s Jamnagar, and Jainee College of Engineering and Technology in Tamil Nadu’s Dindigul. These exams were scheduled on August 21, 27 and 28 in different shifts. The re-exam will now be conducted on September 4 from 3 to 6 pm.
“Candidates are advised to carefully note the details of Exam Centre/Address/Date/Time and Shift as mentioned in the new Admit Card and reach on the day of examination, i.e. 04th September 2024 accordingly. It is also informed that the Exam City and Roll No. of the candidates will remain the same,” the official notice stated.
The University Grants Commission–National Eligibility Test is a test conducted for determining the eligibility for assistant professor in Indian universities and colleges, and/or for awarding Junior Research Fellowship to Indian students.
