Chandigarh University, Uttar Pradesh, to Host India’s First Agentic AI Founders’ Hackathon - “0 to 1 - Hack with Uttar Pradesh”

Chandigarh University, Uttar Pradesh (CU-UP), Technology Business Incubator (TBI) & Student Innovation Cell (IEDC), to host ‘0 to 1 - Hack with Uttar Pradesh’, India’s first Agentic AI Founders’ Hackathon. This competition fosters innovation and entrepreneurship in the field of Artificial Intelligence. This event signifies a major leap in India’s mission to become a powerhouse in an AI-compatible society and entrepreneurship development.  The hackathon will be held on the 1st of November 2025 at the CU-UP campus.

‘0 to 1 - Hack with Uttar Pradesh’ is more than just a coding marathon; it’s an opportunity to show your creativity, collaborate, and explore innovative ideas. It will be an intensive hackathon of 30 hours, where the participants will push their limitations of AI applications to develop solutions that may change the future governance, business, society, and whatnot. Among all the hustle and bustle, it is also a lucrative competition with a $25,000 pool prize for the brightest mind & the most passionate candidate.

The industry-backed framework & mentorship by leading industry experts set this hackathon apart, where participants will gain invaluable experience to solve real-world problems & explore newer AI applications & start-up strategies under the direction of top tech leaders. This event is a sheer example of how CU-UP provides academic excellence with industry relevance, to empower students & innovators to turn them into the next AI founders of the nation.

Speaking of providing expert mentorship, the event is powered by Blackbox AI, with ‘Hack with India’ & ‘Microsoft’ as the community & hackathon partners, which will also provide credibility & technical strength during the competition. Along with this, the hackathon also has platform partners such as AI space, Unstop, & Apna, providing access to digital tools, opportunities, & an ideal ecosystem. These collaborations show the growing synergy between academia & industry in the transformation led by AI at CU-UP.

‘0 to 1 - Hack with Uttar Pradesh’ has support from several reputed government bodies, such as the Department of Science & Technology (DST), NSTEDB, MeitY Startup Hub, and the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) under the Startup India initiative.

This hackathon is a natural habitat of CU-UP’s futuristic AI-augmented academic model, with CU’s TBI actively moulding young innovators & providing them with opportunities.
