VCs meet on ICT from Feb. 24

A three-day Vice-Chancellors' meet on 'Information and Communication Technology (ICT) - Leadership in Higher Education', will be held at Hotel Daspalla in the city from February 24 to 26.

The event, being hosted by Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Open University (BRAOU) will be inaugurated by the Union HRD Minister, M.M. Pallam Raju. Former UGC Chairman Arun Nigvekar will deliver the keynote address on the occasion. The British Council, Commonwealth of Learning (COL), Canada and Indira Gandhi National Open University are the partners for the event. A session on 'ICT in Higher Education: Policy Perspectives' will be chaired by D.N. Reddy, Chairman, Recruitment and Assessment Centre, DRDO while the session on 'Developing Institutional Strategic Plan for Open, Distance and e-Learning' will be chaired by Rajeev Sangal, Director, IIIT, Hyderabad.
