West Bengal HS Exams 2025: The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) has started the Class 12 exams from March 3. The Class 12 Higher Secondary WB board 2025 exams will be held at 2,089 exam centres across the state. The WBCHSE HS 2025 exams will end on March 18. The WB board 2025 HS Class 12 exams will begin at 10 am and conclude at 1:15 pm.
The WB 2025 Class 12 board exam is starting on March 3 with Bengali (A), English (A), Hindi (A), Nepali (A), Urdu, Santhali, Odia, Telugu, Gujarati, Punjabi papers. WBCHSE Class 12 exams will be held between 10 am and 1:15 pm. Students will also get extra 15 minutes to read the WB Class 12 question paper.
Candidates will be required to take along with them the Class 12 WB board admit card and the school ID card. Candidates are advised to reach the exam centres before the reporting time.
Of the total candidates 5.09 lakh candidates appearing in the WB Class 12 HS exams, as many as 2.77 lakh are girls. The board said that there are more girls than boys in all districts, with around 47,571 girls appearing for the exams.
This year, WBCHSE has taken several initiatives to prevent cheating in the annual exams. The board has installed metal detectors and will prevent mobile phones or any other electronic gadgets. The board has implemented special security features and specific QR codes and bar codes on the question paper-answer sheet to detect any attempt to film and circulate images and track the wrongdoer at the outset.
