KIIT B.Tech (2023–27) offers a balanced mix of academics, campus life, and exposure. Supportive faculty, active events, and good infrastructure make learning engaging. Mess and some academic pressure are minor downsides, but overall, it’s a valuable and memorable experience.

Campus Facilities: The infrastructure is one of the strong points. Classrooms and labs are generally well-maintained, and there’s good internet connectivity most of the time. Sports facilities and common areas give you space to relax or unwind. That said, mess food can be hit or miss on certain days, so having snacks on hand is a good idea.
Campus Life: KIIT’s campus life is vibrant. There’s always something happening — from tech fests and cultural events to workshops and club activities. The exposure to so many events helps you grow not just academically but socially too. Living on campus, you meet people from all over India, and that diversity adds to the experience.
Faculty: The faculty is a mix of experienced and young teachers. Most are supportive and willing to help outside class hours if you approach them respectfully. A few teachers are exceptionally good at explaining tough topics, but there are also instances where lectures feel rushed. Peer study groups often help fill those gaps.
Placements: Placements here are steadily improving. Top companies do visit, especially for CSE and ECE branches, but getting selected depends a lot on your preparation. The training and placement cell does conduct sessions and mock interviews, which help, but I feel putting in your own effort outside those is crucial.
