MLR Institute of Technology has been a good place for my academic journey. The college provides a balanced environment where students can focus on both studies and personal growth. The faculty members are mostly supportive and helpful, especially when it comes to clearing doubts or guiding students in academics and projects. If students show interest and put in effort, the teachers are always ready to help. The campus has decent infrastructure with well-maintained classrooms, labs, and a library that is useful during exams and project work. The college regularly conducts technical events, workshops, cultural programs, and fests, which makes campus life enjoyable and helps students gain confidence and practical exposure. These activities give students a chance to explore their interests beyond academics. Placements at MLR Institute of Technology are satisfactory. The placement cell provides training in aptitude, communication skills, and interview preparation. Many companies visit the campus every year, and students who work on their skills and maintain consistency usually get placed. While not every student gets a dream package, the college gives fair opportunities to start a career. The college has hostel facilities for boys and girls with basic amenities and a safe environment. Many students also stay in nearby PGs and rented rooms, which are easily available around the campus. The college canteen provides affordable food with acceptable quality, and there are several food stalls and restaurants near the campus for more options. Classrooms are spacious, clean, and well-ventilated, with projectors available in many rooms. The labs are properly equipped and help students gain practical knowledge. The library has a good collection of textbooks, reference books, and digital resources, and it is a quiet place for self-study. Other facilities like ATM, banking services, Wi-Fi, medical support, and transport make campus life convenient. Overall, the facilities are sufficient and support a comfortable student experience.
Campus Life: One of the best events of our college fest at MLR Institute of Technology is the cultural night. It is the most exciting part of the fest and students look forward to it every year. The energy during this event is amazing, with live music, dance performances, and band shows that keep everyone engaged from start to end. The best thing about cultural night is the exposure it gives to students. Many students get the chance to perform on a big stage in front of a large crowd, which helps build confidence and stage presence. At the same time, it is also a lot of fun for the audience, as everyone gets to relax, enjoy the performances, and celebrate college life together. The crowd participation, lighting, sound system, and overall vibe make the event memorable. It brings students from different branches together and creates a strong sense of unity. For many of us, cultural night becomes one of the best memories of our college life because of the fun, excitement, and bonding it offers.
Faculty: Faculty are very well trained PHD professors and also having indepth knowledge in the multiple subjects and also moreover they are even taking coaching in NPTEL platform for improvement
Placements: Placements at MLR Institute of Technology are decent and improving every year. Around 60–70% of eligible students usually get placed through on-campus drives. The placement cell actively supports students by providing training in aptitude, technical skills, communication, and interview preparation, which helps a lot during recruitment season. Many companies visit the campus every year for both jobs and internships. Some of the regular recruiters include TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, Cognizant, Capgemini, Tech Mahindra, HCL, Amazon (support roles), Deloitte, and a few mid-level product and service-based companies. Internships are also offered by certain companies with stipends ranging from ?8,000 to ?15,000 per month, depending on the role and company. The average salary package offered is around ?3 to ?4 LPA, which is common for service-based companies. The lowest packages start from around ?2.5 LPA, while the highest packages go up to ?8–10 LPA for students with strong technical skills, good coding knowledge, and consistent academic performance. Overall, while not everyone gets placed, students who focus on skill development, internships, and certifications have good chances of securing jobs. The college provides enough opportunities, and final results largely depend on individual effort.
