I am currently studying at Chaitanya Bharathi Institute of Technology (CBIT), Kadapa, and my experience so far has been mixed but worthwhile. The college provides a disciplined and calm academic environment, which helps students stay focused on learning. Faculty members are supportive and explain concepts clearly, mostly through blackboard teaching. The infrastructure and labs are decent but need improvement in some areas. Placements are average, so students must work on their skills independently. Campus life is strict and not university-like, but it maintains discipline. Overall, the college is suitable for students who are willing to put in consistent effort.

Campus Facilities: The campus is calm and well suited for studies. Academic facilities like classrooms, labs, and library are decent and functional. Food options are average, stay options are nearby, and basic amenities are available.
Campus Life: Campus life is enjoyable due to cultural programs and technical events. The annual college fest is the best event, as it brings students together, offers fun activities, and gives good exposure beyond academics.
Faculty: The faculty at my college are experienced and supportive. Most professors hold postgraduate degrees and have strong subject knowledge. My favourite faculty member explains concepts clearly using blackboard teaching and is very approachable for clearing doubts, which made learning easier and more effective.
Placements: Internships and placements at the college are average to below average, with around 60% of students getting placed. The companies that visit the campus mostly offer entry-level or trainee roles. The average package is around ?1.8–2.5 LPA, while the highest package is slightly higher depending on individual performance. On-campus internship opportunities are limited, and most students look for internships off campus. The placement cell provides basic training and support, but students need to work on their skills independently. Overall, placements are not very strong but manageable for students who are proactive.
