KDK College of Engineering, Nagpur is a college near my house, which is why I took admission in it to avoid long travel. I had given the MAH CET exam in the year 2024, after which I became eligible for admission. I then took admission through CAP round counselling.

Campus Facilities: KDK College of Engineering, Nagpur's campus is not very big, it is spread over just 24 acres. There are 2 canteens here, one is near the entrance gate and the second is on the right side of the campus. There is a library here where about 100 people can sit and study peacefully. There is limited Wi-Fi facility and drinking water. The playground is very small, so it's not fun to play. There are 2 blocks here, classes for core branches are in one block and classes for non-core branches run in the other block. There are labs for core branch students, but the tools and equipment are limited, which feels like nonsense. Classrooms have smart boards, projectors, and blackboards. Now, a new autonomous batch has started from 2024, so exams are now held in our college itself, but the semester ends in 4 months, and the syllabus remains as it is, putting a lot of pressure on students as they have to study a lot in a short time.
Campus Life: The campus life here is okay, you make friends with strangers here, you can enjoy here because something is always being celebrated. Every year the college celebrates a big event, the Annual Function, which is a big event for the college. Besides that, there are also freshers' parties many times. Cultural festivals are also celebrated in which you represent yourself by participating.
Faculty: All faculty are qualified, like PhD, MTech, UGC NET, such highly qualified teachers are in this college. Everyone is very knowledgeable, they support everyone, but students have to work hard, otherwise they don't give internal marks at all.
Placements: You have to do internships yourself, colleges don't provide you with anything for internships. Currently, the job situation is also very bad, many people are unemployed because placements are not happening, companies are not coming to college. Campus placements are not happening, you will have to try off-campus for a job. Some from the current batch have got placed, but their salary is very low, 2.5 LPA to 3.5 LPA.
Salary Package: 2.5 - 4 Lakhs
Start Up Incubator: There is no incubator, they don't tell you anything. You have to stand up for yourself, do whatever you can for yourself. Don't rely on college, college people don't do anything.
