PICT is one of the best engineering colleges in Pune, probably after COEP. PICT offers a very academically focused environment, well-educated faculty, great placements, and a small but well-maintained campus. The placement average stands at 12 LPA, with the highest CTC of 47 LPA by Amazon. Min CTC stands at around 3.5 LPA by mass recruiters. Placement percentage is quite good and might be the best in Maharashtra due to the low number of seats. It stands at 90-94% depending on market conditions. PICT lags behind in fests, extra-curricular activities, and overall being fun and enjoyable. But it is excellent at providing an academic environment, placements, tech fests, technical clubs, and a coding culture.

Campus Facilities: Academic facilities are excellent. Well-equipped labs, library, reading hall, AI labs, etc. The campus also has a ground, indoor games room, gym, cricket net, etc.
Campus Life: Campus life is a bit compromised due to the college's main focus on academic excellence. Fests and non-technical clubs are merely a formality. You will have to look outside of campus to make your college life fun and enjoyable.
Faculty: Faculty are well-educated and well-trained in industrial skills. All of them are at least at the postgraduate level. They have good industry relationships. They will help you get internships, sponsor projects, publish research papers, etc.
Placements: Average CTC stands at 12 LPA, with a maximum CTC of 47 LPA at Amazon. Placement percentage is quite good. It is about 90-94% depending on market conditions. The best and easiest way to get placed is to secure an internship in the third year. Most companies offer PPO's to most of their interns. For that, you will need a CGPA of 9 and above. Companies like Mastercard, Siemens, Barclays, BNY Mellon, and BMC Helix visit for internships. Companies like Amazon, PhonePe, Arista Network, Zensar, Amdocs, etc visit for placements. Every year, approximately 160-180 companies visit the campus for placements.
Salary Package: 10 - 12 Lakhs
Start Up Incubator: There is an Entrepreneurship Development cell, but I am not aware of any startup incubator.
