JORHAT ENGINEERING COLLEGE is one of the most premier institutes of the entire northeast of India. There are six departments - Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, and MCA.

Campus Facilities: The campus is very good and modern. Canteens are also available inside the campus. Classrooms are very good, modern facilities are available, Labs are big and contain too many things, an ATm is also available at the college gate.

Campus Life: campus life is very good. We have a pond in front of the college. A park is also there besides the pond. Students use to go there and seat there for a while.

Faculty: All the Faculty members are well educated. Most of them are passed out from different IITs. They teach the students in a very well way, they are too much supportive also.

Placements: The college has a training and placement cell for the help of students. different companies like wipro, vedanta, by Ju's, Doubnut, HUL, TCS come to the college every year. Also PSU's like OIL,ONGC,NRL,APDCL also come every year. In CSE branch almost 80% students are got placed, In Mechanical engineering branch almost 40% , in Electrical engineering almost 40%, in civil engineering almost 30% student got placed every year
