Pros: Government Medical College, so very less fees. Highly qualified faculties (MD/MS in their respective subjects) Good connectivity and location in city centre Lots of patient exposure so clinical knowledge is excellent Good hostel facilities at a very cheap rate. Cons: Lack of a sports ground is a biggest con for me. Internship is too hectic and tiresome compared to other government medical colleges in Gujarat

Campus Facilities: Classrooms are nice and spacious for 150 students with AV medias, mic ,ACs, soundproof walls. Nice and well equipped Biochemistry, Pathology, microbiogy and Physiology labs along with Excellent Dissection hall is a very big plus point. College campus is small and built in Civil hospital. Campus contains a cafeteria, canteen and a small garden. Canteen is nice and spacious but management is poor and so is food quality.

Campus Life: Campus life is not as enjoyable as other colleges because of small campus built inside hospital area. No sports ground is a big negative point. Annual cultural and sports event is called Euphoria wherein some great events occur especially the highlights of which include Band performance, standup show and a Fashion show. Quizzes and sports event also occur in the annual fest along with Cultural night.

Faculty: Faculties are highly qualified having MD/MS degrees in their respective subjects along with medical GPSC qualification. There is also a lot of clinical exposure for students in all departments like medicine, surgery, orthopedics ob-gy, pediatrics, ent, ophthalmology,etc.

Placements: 1 year internship in Rajkot Civil Hospital is compulsory where stipend pf INR 18,200 per month is offered. After completing MBBS, we can work as medical officer at Civil Hospital Rajkot with approx salary of INR 60,000/month
