Advice for the young generation is that choose college wisely thapar university has 22 lakh fees for all computer's branches. There is total 1.5k students enrolled in cse branches. Try to get NITs Or IIITs as they have less fees and have quality studies and teaching staff as compared to thapar. Well college life is excellent in thapar. Almost everything from games, shops to physical /mental development is there in thapar. Thapar University has a huge 250-acre campus. Placement/internship opportunities are good in Thapar. My overall experience in thapar university remained good. U can be very good friends and u will enjoy yourself a lot like a variety of students are there in Thapar. Try to learn coding from the first year if you want good placement and maintain 8+ CG till the final year. Try to be attentive in classes for ease in studies. And get your doubt clear on time from teachers because at last no one helps you in clearing your doubt.

Campus Facilities: Almost all sports are available from table tennis, football to the swimming pool you will find everything. There is a shopping complex in Thapar from there you can purchase everything . 3 atms and 2 banks sbi and ICICI are available in the campus. Campus Life: My college life almost was online only due to covid But mine 1st sem was offline so I enjoyed it a lot. We played very heavy games in hostels. We used to play tournaments held on our campus. We also move out of the campus a lot for refreshment and go out for good food. We use to sleep at 4am and 5 am And doing mazzsti full night with friends. We used to climb up the walls and move out of the campus. It was great fun. And only studied one week before the exams.

Faculty: Honestly speaking, students have to study on their own. In classes, teaching is very poor. They only read up the slides and hardly explain things properly. Try to make good seniors who help to clear your doubt. As teachers hardly give replies and see what's app messages and emails. Try to ask your doubt in class only because after that teachers disappear from campus don't know where they go. At last HODs and some lectures are very good rest TA are poor in their jobs.

Placements: Placement /innternr opportunities are very good in thapar almost every top companies visits like Texas instruments, de shaw, ION, jp Morgan, Adobe, Amazon, American Express these all companies have visited in 2021 for 3rd-year students for internship.

Campus/Events:

Start Up Incubator: They help students with stipends and invest in students' startup ideas. But Thapar has some part of shares in that Company for rest of life to which they invested before.
