The college life at UICET is very enjoyable. The department organizes a cultural fest named as Cyanide every year. Apart from that many technical fests are also held at the campus. The library consists of many books. Many sports events such as inter class Cricket, football, volleyball, badminton and others for both boys and girls are also organised by the department. The department also has many societies such as dance club, arts Club, music club, e cell, bhangra club, english speaking club, photography club and many other clubs which will add lot of skills to your CV.

Campus Facilities: The Annual fest is the CYANIDE which is the largest fest among the two fests of the college. it is conducted in the February-March months. we have a department library also but the AC Joshi library adjoining the department is the largest library of Chandigarh. The classroom is old due to the old infrastructure but labs are pretty Modern and well equipped. All sports facilities are available. All kinds of clubs and Societies are there in the college.

Campus Life: Wi-Fi facility is provided to every student, and the labs of every core subject is also available on our college. The infrastructure in the classrooms is pretty much fine. There are two libraries one is in the college and other library is situated in front of the college, which is air-conditioned and named Joshi library. From that library, you can borrow another four books, and it is the university's library

Faculty: The teachers here are well qualified and are very helpful to every student and every core subject is taught by professors, and the teaching quality is above average in our college. The course curriculum is very relevant. Teachers provide practical knowledge, which makes students industry-ready.

Placements: Internships are supposed to be done after the 6th semester. Minimum 45 days of the internship is reqd. Many companies visit department campuses offering internships however you can always opt for internships anywhere you want. Placements records are good which anyhow obviously suffered during a pandemic. Many big recruiters like Exxon, uop, reliance, Technip visit the campus.
