Title : This college has good return value in terms of placement if you are in CSE, IT and ECE. Other Details : My branch is IT and as we know that it is one of the industry which is on boom from last few years. There are lot of opportunities in this branch.

Campus Facilities: As UIET PU is a government college, its infrastructure is not too good. But its also not that bad. There is separate library for engineering department in the campus. But you can also access AC Joshi library which is in main campus of PU. Labs are good. Classrooms are old but decent. There is a canteen in the campus where most students enjoy quality time. There are 8 boys hostels and 10 girls hostel. But these are for all students of PU. So, there are very less seats left for UIET. It is very difficult to get hostels here

Campus Life: Campus life is awesome. Punjab university has a lush green campus and it is well distributed in over 500acres. There are 12 hostels in Punjab University. There are events like Goonj, parichay happen each year.

Faculty: Faculty is of top notch quality here.They are highly qualified and supportive. They even help us personally in WhatsApp chat as classes are going online these days. The course curriculum is quite good. You will start programming from 1st semester as it is included in 1st sem. The semester exams are generally easy as exams are going online. Its not that tough if one gives attention to the classes, they can get good cgpa.

Placements: Hello everyone, I'm vivek. I am pursuing B.E branch IT. There are 121 students in IT branch and number of placements in the year 2021-22 is 96 out of 121. Highest package was of 31lpa from google by off campus placement and 4 students got 30lpa from amazon on campus placement. The average placement has slightly increased from 6.35lpa to 6.45lpa. Top recruiters are amazon, paytm, deloitte, cognizant, infosys, zs scaler.. Many students get internships but for good companies student generally apply off campus. Some of the roles are data analyst, software developer, web developer.
