AMET UNIVERSITY is the best university in Chennai for Marine. The faculty members are mind-blowing. Every teacher or captain is very experienced. The placement record of amet is good. Around 50 to 60% of total students get placed in very big companies like MAERSK LINE BW SHIPPING GOODWOOD SHIP MANAGEMENT FLEET SHIP MANAGEMENT CHEVRON etc. Food is also very good. The hostel facility is not too good but okay okay

Campus Facilities: Food quality in amet is good but for the North Indian, it is not too good. Every classroom is provided with a smartboard. Amet have a world-class library system. On-campus, the atm is also there.

Campus Life: In amet almost every month we celebrate some Jayanti We celebrate every festival wholeheartedly whether it's holi, Diwali Pongal, etc. And it is very enjoyable

Faculty: The faculty of amet is world-class level. Every captain has experience of a minimum of 15 years at sea and the teacher are well qualified. Every faculty is very qualified and experienced
