Students wishing to learn more practically by involving in projects and doing work in labs can join our college because that's the culture of our college. A unique specialty called interactive learning platform shortly ILP has been equipped with a lot of technologies along with the tie-ups of domestic and international companies. Surely our college experience is something different from other colleges. This doesn't mean that our college is weak in studies, our college stands second in the academic ranking for all non-autonomous colleges in Tamilnadu under the control of Anna University, Chennai.

Campus Facilities: Our college has enough facilities that are more and more sufficient and satisfying to the students to learn and do projects. As said earlier ILP is an important part of Cit which I recommend all students to make use of it. The classrooms are well equipped with projectors and good wifi facilities that are helpful for the students. The library is renewed and it is now digitalized. There are 3 ATMs available 24/7.

Campus Life: One big event that is organized, conducted, and performed by the students of our college is Takshila. This is a year too it is being organized to be held in the month of May. Then there are national-level symposiums for every department. There are other events like the IEEE conference, hackathons,...

Faculty: The faculties of our college are well knowledged with the up to date technologies. Most of them hold a doctorate degree. The faculty: students ratio is 1:31. All are good and they are surely helping students with the projects and other technical stuff. All were experienced with more than 10 years of this field of teaching.

Placements: Students without any of the backlog will be placed with a good average salary package of 4.6L. The highest package is 22L which is offered by human resources for three of our college students. Mostly all the students will be getting double or triple offers. All the students are advised to do an internship. Students working keenly on those ILPs will get internships from those companies themselves which is something wonderful.

Start Up Incubator: Our college has an incubation cell called the Chennai institute of technology incubation forum that helps college students and others who wish to bring up a start-up. Till now they have successfully registered and started 22 new start-ups which is a wonderful thing. Mostly our college encourages students to be an entrepreneur than work in a company.
