Life at Chitkara University is a great experience for me. This university gives us a lot of opportunities to explore ourselves in every possible field. I am pursuing BE-CSE at Chitkara University. I was enrolled in 2020. The faculty is very supportive. The placement criteria at this campus are excellent. They assure to give placements to almost every enrolled student. One thing I was disappointed with was the size of the campus. The campus size is only 17 acres. But the overall review is good. So, being a student of Chitkara University, I am happy to be here ??

Campus Facilities: The campus is quite fascinating. But the size of the campus is somewhat 17-18 acres(smaller than expected). But the environment and crowd are very good. If someone comes to meet you from outside the campus(i.e. parents or relatives) then the stay facility is available on campus in a separate building. The food served in the mess is of good quality, and we have 3 food stalls inside the campus. Modern amenities like a fully-equipped sports complex, proper garbage disposal, and a thermally comfortable learning environment are there on the campus. The academic facilities here are absolutely good. The classrooms are quite spacious and well maintained with AC provided. There are 5 CSE labs and 8 other labs in the campus for other branch students. The labs are well structured and nicely maintained. There are 3 large spacious libraries in campus with excellent infrastructure and ventilation. We don't need to buy any books, since mostly all books from all the branches are available. There is a bank and ATM in the college for transferring and receiving money. I am pursuing BE-CSE here. All the faculties are very helpful and supportive in all aspects. They are always ready to solve the student's doubts and problems. And they always encourage us to do more practice of coding and all other subjects.

Campus Life: I really like my college campus. The campus is a bit small but at the same time, it has all the required facilities like a sports complex, library, labs, etc. Every year college organizes fests like tech-fest, engines, etc, and other events like DJ Night, Festival celebration, etc. We have quite fun at these events and enjoy it a lot.

Faculty: The faculty is highly qualified. They help all the students with their subject doubts, and projects and are very lenient towards them. They keep the curriculum updated. They help students in every possible aspect and are very friendly to them.

Placements: There are ample of internship opportunities from the very first year of the college. Multinational companies like TCS, Amazon, Microsoft, MakeMyTrip, Paytm, etc come to this college. As far as I'm experiencing about 80% to 90% of students are getting placed here. Last time students got placed in TCS with 10 lac and 11.2 lac packages. The average package offered is 7 to 8 lac. The best thing is the college put it all to get you placed. It gives students the bandwidth to intern in good companies.

Campus/Events:

Start Up Incubator: Our college focuses on the new and unique ideas explored by students. If something new is found which proved helpful and useful to society then its all the college's responsibility to invest in it and provide patent to the student for that idea. There is a separate department/Cell for this purpose. There are idea boxes installed on every floor in the academic building where students can put their ideas written on paper. There is a main slogan or tagline of this college i.e. "Explore Your Potential" which encourages students to explore themselves in every possible aspect.
