Overall it is one of the best college on the basis of beauty and in the placement but on the basis of campus connectivity. Faculties are also decent and helpful. Academic curriculum is not so hectic you will get your extra time to explore the things.

Campus Facilities: There is more restriction than other IITS because, on our campus faculty living, hostels, and academics building is close to each other. Campus infrastructure is good as it is not so old but there is a few things that can worry you if you find to harm any college property college impose a huge fine on you. There are no toxic things are allows inside the campus. There are two libraries in the iit mandi one in the north campus and one in the south campus. There is a total 6 canteen in the college whereas 3 in the north campus and 3 in the south campus. you can enjoy the foods of all states. There is no permission required to go outside the campus, you can go to mandi by IIT mandi bus when you want to watch the movies.

Campus Life: Campus life is good, there is nature present all around the campus. You can enjoy tracking, and cycling on the hills. In the rainy season, hills look like touching clouds. you found people from every state of India and different variety language speaking but for Academic work, only English is used. Overall you enjoy living in the campus as there is a playground for cricket all around the hills in the south campus and hockey ground in the north campus and football ground in the south campus. A sports complex for badminton and Table tennis is present in the north campus. A sports complex for Basketball and Table tennis is present in the south campus and there are also so many sports available.Rann-Neeti , Xpecto and exodia are the most popular fest of IIT mandi. in rann-neeti 22 , thousands of players takes part to compete each other.

Faculty: Faculties are highly qualified, They behave with you as a friend. But there are some faculty who always pressure you to do the courses that they want and make the easy courses tough for you.

Placements: The company that hires the maximum in my session is HDFC with 12 students with a 1,20,000 per month package. Google hired 6 people for the internship. There are some big companies who hired for internships this season oracle, Codechef, Media.net, Zomato, and Razorpay. Most of the companies come from the computer science department and Data science department. There are very less opportunities for electrical companies and almost no opportunities for mechanical and civil companies. placement The overall highest CTC package which is offered is by uber 64 lakhs per annum. The average CTC package of the CSE department was 28 LPA and the average package for electrical was 19 lakhs per annum. The overall average of the package was 16 lakhs per annum. The highest number of recruiters is Microsoft, Walmart, and Amazon. There are 12 people are selected on amazon for placement. Microsoft gives pre-placement offers.
