NIT kurukshetra is very decent NIT among many NITs like it is better than northeast NITs and Delhi and some other colleges. My overall experience here is good enough to suggest it to students. Infrastructure , campus life, faculty, fests, placements, etc. are better than average here.

Campus Facilities: ED Hall, OAT, Golden Jubilee, Jubilee hall, sports complex, NIT market, post office, bank, ATM, LHC, Departments, Labs, CCN etc. are the available for students .There are 11 hostels for boys and 5 hostels for girls. Hostels are very good but food quality is more than average .

Campus Life: There are different clubs and societies here where like minded people can interact everyone. These clubs and societies organize fests here. CONFLUENCE and TECHSPARDHA are major cultural and technical fests here respectively. And they are literally very nice in experience.

Faculty: Faculties are very much qualified and well experienced . They are very kind and helpful to students except some of them are fairly rude and strict but one can easily tackle them by the span of time. All of faculties are PhD but some of them are Postdoc too. I don't have any industrial exposure here .

Placements: Internship and Placements were very good here till second last year but after that due to recession the stats and graph become poor. In this placement season the performance is very bad . Talking about past year placement stats- the median salary were 11 lac per annum and highest salary was 63 lacs per annum and percentage placement was 76 percent.
