National Institute of technology SILCHAR is a place where you can build your dreams ,fulfil them and also learn about your hidden skills. It is the best one among all the north eastern NITs and ranked as the 7th best NITs with an NIRF ranking of 40.

Campus Facilities: The campus is full of greenery and has the best environment I guess .The classrooms are well equipped ,there is a library which is the largest digital one in whole ASIA and there is a bank facility and an ATM in the campus itself

Campus Life: The best part of our life will always be the college life and NITS offers as the best place to have such a memorable part of the life. There are two fests conducted every year one is the technical fest known as TECHNOSIS and the other is the cultural fest INCANDESCENES which literally make us feel so high.

Faculty: The faculty here are so helpful and tries their best to explain us clearly. Students here come from different parts of INDIA so the lecturers try their best in order to let every student understand. They do not hesitate and cooperate with us a lot. The main part is that the faculties are very well experienced.

Placements: Only some students get the internships that too in the third year, when it comes to the placements the average package is about 12LPA ,the highest package is about 1.67 CPA this year and the median is about 11LPA.
