Overall, Durgapur Institute of Advanced Technology and Management is an average college for B.Tech students, having good facilities for campus, classes, affordability for students, pursuing this course. Some of the demerits include placement support, campus placement rate etc.

Campus Facilities: Campus facilities is good enough, we are having canteens, sports playgrounds, and hospitality services in our campus itself. Academic facilities are not that good, the classrooms are in very congested area, no room for ventilation. Labs are good enough. AC is there in CS labs, not classrooms. Nearby bank facilities are also available in the localities.
Campus Life: Tech fest was organized last year, with so many activities being implemented, like singing, dancing, technical projects, concerts etc. The fun we had was amazing.
Faculty: Faculty members are mostly friendly and polite to us students. The language or medium for teaching is mostly English, but Hindi and Bengali are also interchangeably used by the faculty members. The level of education of faculty members are good enough like M.Tech, P.hD etc.
Placements: No internship opportunities are given to the students throughout the 3rd year of the course. In final year, very less companies come for campus placements, with some being just startups or marketing companies. Additional paid courses is offered to us via affiliation with our college for skill development.
Salary Package: 2.5 - 4 Lakhs
