Recommends this college
I like my college, DYPIEMR. Teachers are good and help us understand things. They are available to answer our questions. Our college has a big campus with many facilities like libraries, canteens, and auditoriums. It's a nice place to study. But we have to attend classes regularly. If we don't, we have to make up for it by attending make-up classes. First-year students cannot join clubs. I chose this college because it's near my home and offers a good course. Teachers are experienced and knowledgeable. We get opportunities for internships and job placements. Many companies come to our college for recruitment. College life is fun. We have many clubs and events like Nakshatra and Techno-Fiesta. Sometimes, parking is a problem, but overall, our college is good. We don't have a hostel, but one can find nearby hostels to stay.

Campus Facilities: The college campus is pretty big. There are almost labs for every subject in the college, so we have practical's for all the subjects 2-3 times a week. As the AiDs course is new in college and university as well, the course curriculum is pretty updated. There are almost 4 canteens on the college campus and 3 libraries. There are almost 9 colleges on the campus 3 of which or engineering. There are 3 stores on the college campus.
Campus Life: The campus life is pretty chill in the college. The students can do whatever they like on the campus. The infrastructure is also good. Parking is a bit of an issue as you sometimes have to park the vehicle far from the college building. There are many clubs in the college like culture, motorsports, communication, astronomy, entrepreneurship, etc. The college has a cultural fest and a tech fest. The cultural fest is called Nakshatra. The event is pretty grand and it goes on for almost 3-4 days in February. The fest also holds sports activities in it. The tech fest is called techno-fiesta and is held after the cultural fest in March itself. The college doesn't have its hostel but there are many good hostels around the area as the area has 2-3 colleges around it
Faculty: The college faculty are good in their respective fields. Most have a master's degree or are PhD holders and have 5-20 years of teaching experience. The faculty ratio is pretty decent, it is almost 1-2 faculty for 2 classes. Few teachers use pretty innovative techniques to teach and make the students understand but few of them fail to do so and end up boring. Mostly teaching is done in labs so the practical experience is pretty good. Teachers are available for interaction for almost complete college hours.
Placements: I have not opted for any internships as I am currently in the 2nd year. However, there are many pain internship opportunities in the college. The placements are pretty decent in the college. Last year almost 81% of students got placed. The average package for tech branches is around 4.5 LPA and the highest package was offered by Amazon for 45 LPA. Many companies visit the college like Infosys, TCS, Accenture, ZS associates, etc. Students can apply for placements from the 7th Semester itself.
Salary Package: 4 - 6 Lakhs
Start Up Incubator: The college has an entrepreneurship and development cell which provides funding to the startups from the college but there is a certain criteria to receive the funding.
Safety Measures: Anti-Ragging Cell, Women Safety Cell, Other
