The college is listed among the top 10 engineering colleges in Kerala. Since it is a govt-aided engineering college, the fees is affordable. College has environment friendly campus. Has good infrastructure with library, workshops, canteen, OAT, seminar halls, hostels etc. The college management is strict with rules and also has a dress code, but no uniform.

Campus Facilities: Well equipped classrooms, labs and workshops are there on the campus. The library is also good and also department libraries are present. Canteen facilities are available with good and affordable food. There are also hostel facilities for both boys and girls.

Campus Life: There are two annual fests conducted in the college, TAKSHAk- annual tech fest and SANSKRITI annual arts fest. During the tech fest, workshops and competitions are held, by which students can gain activity points. There are also several arts and tech clubs for the students.

Faculty: The faculty here is experienced and many teachers have PhD's . There are also experienced lab staffs who assist the students in the lab. During the final year, teachers are assigned as guides for the seminar and project works.

Placements: The college has good placement opportunities. Companies like TCS, Cognizant, SOTI, QBurst, MRF,L&T etc. come here for placements. Students with decent CGPA and no backlogs can get placements. Placement opportunities are more for IT students compared to branches like Civil and Mech

Start Up Incubator: There is an IEDC club in the college. It helps by giving exposure and financial aids to students with efficient startup ideas.
