Recommends this college
In short, AIIMS Rishikesh, is one of those colleges, that feel random but is the complete opposite. The faculty, the batchmates, the seniors, all really help you out a lot. They have excellent, infrastructure with a unique diamond shaped buildings, and a library which is open 24/7 , even on festivals, so you can study in peace. The hostel you get in 1st year aren't that good, but you do get a bigger space in 2nd year. The Mess food is unexpectedly good and you have a weekly menu that can be changed in mess meetings

Campus Facilities: The college is building is the first one of the diamonds, the other two are OPD and Hospital buildings. It has 6 floors, each floor having a lecture hall, with AC and alot of seats, also having a projector and a large blackboard. The Library is at the 5th floor, open 24/7 all around the year to study whenever you feel like it. At the ground floor, there is a cadaver dissection hall, with a 12:1 student to cadaver ratio which is really good compared to other colleges. There is a ATM located at the ground floor
Campus Life: The classes start at 8 pm in the morning, and most 1st years have their lecture hall at 5th floor, so its a pain to get there sleepy, but its ventilated well. Other years, you have clinical rounds from 9 to 12. Its not that hard to locate your posting place even in the starting but it gets easy. Our college fest is called PYREXIA, happens every year, its really fun to prepare for with your batchmates and seniors, and you really bond with everyone.
Faculty: Our faculty the most helpful i have seen. Any doubts you have , you can approach them without hesitation if they are not busy. You can even meet with the HOD, without prior go ahead. They also promote UG research very much and help you alot in going through the process.
Placements: At the end of MBBS, you have 1 and half year of internship, in different departments and a few weeks of rural placement where you yourself along with a few batchmates are handling it. Most people go for PG specialization through NEET PG but you can try other opportunities, like doing MBA or UPSE CME, upon our interest
