This is a polytechnic institute situated in Krishnagar. This college has a huge campus, with buildings, hostels, playgrounds and workshops. Campus: This college has several rooms and buildings. One may find many playgrounds around the college. There is a student council room on the left site of the entrance. Admission: In order to take admission in this college, one must apply for JEXPO or JEXPO VOCLET. Earlier, this used to be a written exam, but nowadays it takes into account your class 10th and 12th results, respectively. One must sign up on the website of WBSCTVESD and wait for allotment. Upon being successful, a merit list will be published, post that students may visit their college and take admission after choice filling. Fees: This, being a government college, charges very minimal fees. The first year is 800 rs for admission and tuition fees. Other than that, there are several quotas, like Tuition Fee Waiver or Land Looser Quota.

Campus Facilities: There are boys and girls hostels inside the campus. The hostels can be applied to by the students upon successful admission. The classrooms are big and spacious. There are workshop buildings filled with heavy machinery and the labs are well equipped with tools needed for experiments. The library is filled to the brim with books and one may issue books at their discretion.

Campus Life: The college holds a freshers' fest every year around December. Other than that, induction programs are held after around 5 days of the freshers joining the college.

Faculty: The faculty is highly qualified and experienced. They are well versed in what they teach. Most, if not all, have completed their masters or PhDs. Their explanations are fluid and easy to understand. They are very fun people and they teach in both English and Bengali.

Placements: Bipradas Pal Chowdhury Institute of Technology (BPCIT) in Nadia, West Bengal has a placement cell that helps students get placed in companies and offers internships. Some say that the college has had good placements in the past, with students being hired by reputable organizations like L&T and Siemens. However, in 2018–2020, less than 10% of students were placed, with the highest package being 2 LPA, the lowest 1.44 LPA, and the average 1.71 LPA.
