Recommends this college
Ashoka Institute has its strengths, such as a beautiful campus, a few good teachers, and a vibrant cultural scene. However, it falls short in many areas, including campus infrastructure, hostel facilities, and placement opportunities. The college needs to focus on upgrading its infrastructure, providing better amenities, and strengthening its industry connections. The faculty, while knowledgeable, often seems disinterested and unapproachable. Despite its flaws, I made some amazing memories at Ashoka Institute. If you're considering joining, I'd say it's an average college that could be a good fit if you're looking for a laid-back atmosphere and are willing to put in extra effort to achieve your goals.
Infrastructure 3
Campus 2.5
Faculty 2.5
Industry Exposure 3.5
Placements 2.5
Affordability 3.5
Campus Facilities: The campus is outdated, and the classrooms are in dire need of renovation. The library is understocked, and the technology is ancient. It feels like the college is living in the past. There is only girls hostel available.
Campus Life: College has a vibrant cultural fest! There are numerous clubs, societies, and events that cater to diverse interests. I was part of the music club, and it was an incredible experience. However, I think the college could encourage more inter-college events and collaborations.
Faculty: Unfortunately, the faculty at Ashoka Institute is unapproachable and unhelpful. Many professors seem disinterested in teaching and mentoring. I had to rely on online resources and external help to get through my courses.
Placements: The college doesn't provide many internship opportunities, and the ones they do offer are low-quality and unpaid. I had to search for my own internships, which was frustrating and time-consuming. The placement cell at Ashoka Institute is disorganized and lacks connections with top companies. Many students, had to settle for low-paying jobs or pursue further studies. The placement process was chaotic, and the college didn't provide much support.
Salary Package: 2.5 - 4 Lakhs
