It has been 5 months since I have joined the institute as a PGDM student and it has been nothing less than a rollercoaster journey. Assignments, Presentations, Local Business Accelerator Program, Helpful Faculties, Sleepless Nights, all has been a part of my growth. What I have learned is that you can never have a discouraging attitude when it comes to being a part of a Business School. From the time you wake up till the time you go to sleep, everything you see, learn, and do will be a part of your growth, the growth that will help us to survive in the harsh world or corporate jobs. IMI Kolkata has given me ample of scope to learn, inside classroom and beyond classrooms too. The faculties are very helpful and always ready to guide us whenever we need help. There is a local business accelerator program where you get to work for a company for 6 months and you will be given your trimester evaluation marks on the basis of that, a design thinking course in collaboration with school of design thinking and mission samriddhi, that helps us learn how to solve problems in real world, and last but not the least, summer internship program. It has just been 5 months and I have already got placed for SIP at Bank of India. Overall, its been hectic, challenging and an experience full of learning.
