Kurnool medical college is situated at Kurnool district of Andhra Pradesh. It is one of the most reputed colleges of both Telugu states. It is well known for its great teaching faculty who are very much experienced. All the professors are very friendly and are always helpful at clearing our doubts. The campus life is very good with a great environment . All the seniors are very friendly and gave us a warm welcome. Each academic year has 250 students. There are various blocks and departments in the college including laboratories, dissection halls etc. There are two hostels for both boys and girls respectively with all requirements and the food at mess is extraordinary. A government hospital is present adjoining the campus which provide all the clinical knowledge required for the students.

Campus Facilities: The campus is of a very huge area of around 100 acres. There are so many departments in the college such as Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Pathology, Microbiology, Pharmacology etc. which are situated in respective blocks. The infrastructure is not that good and requires renovation in some parts of the buildings. A government hospital is situated adjoining the college thus students can gain sufficient clinical knowledge. Hostels are available to both girls and boys with all required facilities. Food at mess is of very good quality and have a lot of varieties on menu every day . A library is present with thousands of books available and is free to access. A Union bank is present just beside the library within the campus which will be very helpful for any money requirements and transactions.

Campus Life: The campus life is extraordinary with a very great environment and friendly seniors. A lot of Fests are conducted every year which are very enjoyable. All the students can participate and this period helps to make our bonds stronger with seniors. A lot of festivals are also celebrated at the campus particularly Christmas. It is celebrated in a very grand way. We also have sports day, convocation, college day, that are celebrated yearly and are very much enjoyable.

Faculty: The faculty at college is very well experienced and extremely talented. The great reputation of the college is also because of this reason thus producing extremely talented doctors into the society every year. All the professors are very friendly with the students and clears our doubts regarding academics. They also help us as our mentors being a support to us in our difficult times. A neat power point presentation is made to teach classes making it easy for students to understand the topics.

Placements: All the students have a good clinical knowledge as a government hospital is present adjacent to the campus. The passed out final year students are eligible for internship and are paid 35,000 to 40,000 rupees every month. The internship is a period for learning various treatment procedures and medications. Once the internship period completes, the students are asked to attempt the PG NEET exam.
