National Institute of Technology, Rourkela is very good academically as well as none academically. It has a broader environment. It has overall good people all around. NIT is good in all aspect like in co-curricular as well as non-curricular fields. So people generally prefer to study here for this above reason. So, I will definitely refer National Institute of Technology, Rourkela to other students.

Campus Facilities: There are many fests which are conducted in the college which give students some relaxation . Innovision, cosmopolitan, nitrustav, roots are some names of the fests which are conducted. The library contains more than ninety thousand books and it provides a peaceful environment for studying during the semester exams . All the classes are air conditioned, projectors and digital boards revolutionize the education. All types of sports are played in our campus.

Campus Life: Our campus has an area of 1200 acre. NIT Rourkela has quite peaceful environment. It has pond and birds chirping can also be heard. In winters there are foggy mornings. The institute has quite good environment to roam here and there. They can use their cycles in the campus.

Faculty: The faculty to students ratio is 1/10.The faculties have done their masters from reputed IIts.Especially our mechanics professor dr suman roy is very responsive towards all our queries and teaches extremely well.the exams are moderately hard. and most of the questions come from the notes and assignments.

Placements: The placement of this Institution is 100% every year. There are a lot of job offers like Google, Microsoft and Apple will give the opportunity to our Institution’s students. There will be many clubs that builds our overall personality.
