D.Y. Patil College of Engineering, Akurdi, is a great institution with a lush green campus, excellent infrastructure, and experienced faculty. Campus Facilities: Infrastructure of DYPCOE Pune is great. It has well-equipped laboratories for all the subjects. PPS lab, Chemistry lab, Mechanics lab, Physics lab, and Graphics lab are few to mention. For every branch, there is separate department. Workshops are also there for first year students to give them practical experience of carpentry and soldering. Apart from this, there are 2 cafeterias in the campus. Food charges in both of them are also not too high; quality could be improved though. There is a smart store for stationary in the campus. Square Garden in college has a statue of Saraswati Maa. There are few other shops in the campus. There is a library in the campus with reading room. Outstation students are not allowed in the library. There is greenery all around the campus. Students spend their free time in the college campus.

Campus Life: Campus life has been greatful at D.Y.Patil College of Engineering,Akurdi with lots of greenery and fountains at the start of Main Gate helps to look it more attractive. Statue of Saraswati Maa at Saraswati lawn makes it look more attractive.

Faculty:  my course, faculties have more than 10 years of experience in their respective fields. Teacher to student ratio is 1:68 in college with each batch having 2 coordinators. Some of the teachers are GATE qualified with decent rank. Support of teacher towards students is great.

Placements: Placement cell is there in DYPCOE Pune. Placements have really improved in this college in the recent years. Package for the students of core branches is 20 LPA on average, with one student reaching upto 52 LPA in Microsoft. Companies like TCS and Virtusa visits the College.Around 70% of people got placed in College.
