NIT Rourkela is one of the best NITs of our nation with excellent infrastructure and experience of greenery around the campus. It is known for its various UG, PG and Research programs. It has various clubs for development of different skills as per students will. It conducts many fests in which students, professors and guest speakers are invited from all over India to motivate their students.campus life experience is outstanding. The institute organises various fests, clubs to increase the participation of students in various activities. Many Inter NIT competitions and tours to other premier institutes take place. Students are from different states having different cultures and food habits which help in exchanging cultural knowledge about various things. There is a big crowd in various club activities like dancing, singing, robotics, Quizzes, Hackathons and many more.

Campus Facilities: There are more than 300 faculty members in this institute for teaching their respective courses. This institute has highly qualified faculties from all over India who graduated with doctorate degrees from premier institutes. They are very well-experienced and supportive. Faculty: The faculty at the institute is generally well-regarded, with a diverse group across various departments who bring a mix of academic expertise, research experience and industry knowledge. Placements: Yes, placement is present here; they guide students about how to make CV, presentation, etc. and also give instructions about interviews. Many companies’ visits here like Google, Microsoft, Meta, YouTube, Oracle, IBM, Godrej, Instagram, etc. Average package is around 12 to 13 LPA and highest is around 1.2 CPA . I am in 1st year so can't comment much.The institute holds a strong placement record. MNCs like Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Deloitte, Tata Steel, PwC, Qualcomm, Infosys, Oracle, Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan are the top recruiters that frequently recruit from NIT Rourkela.
