I’m currently in my second year at Manipal University Jaipur and so far it’s been a mix of good and not-so-good moments. The campus is beautiful and well maintained with a chill vibe that makes daily life easier. There are plenty of events fests and club activities happening throughout the year which helps in breaking the routine and meeting new people. Academics are decent but vary depending on the department. Some teachers are really supportive and make learning fun while others just stick to the syllabus. The attendance rule can get annoying at times especially when you genuinely need a break or want to focus on other things. Sometimes the administration feels slow and unresponsive but if you keep following up things eventually get sorted. One of the best parts here is the people. You meet students from all over the country and that makes the experience more diverse and exciting. Hostel life is decent too but can feel restrictive at times. Advice for Aspirants Don’t expect everything to be perfect but if you stay active and involved you’ll enjoy it. Join clubs attend events talk to seniors and explore different opportunities on campus. Focus on both academics and fun because both matter in the long run. Come with an open mind and make the most of your time here.

Campus Life: One of the best events at our college fest Oneiros is definitely Sunburn Campus Night. It’s honestly the most hyped and awaited part of the fest every year. The energy is just insane. Everyone’s out on the main ground dancing, vibing, and having the time of their lives under the lights and speakers. The DJs they invite are pretty big names and the music just pulls the entire crowd together. What makes it so good is that it's not just about the party vibe – it's also a huge stress-buster after midterms or submissions. It gives you that feeling of freedom where you’re just living in the moment with your friends. I also got to help out with the organizing team once and that gave me real exposure to event planning, logistics, crowd management and coordination with artists and sponsors. It was hectic but also super rewarding. Overall, Sunburn Campus Night blends fun and experience in the best way possible. It’s something that stays with you even after the fest ends.
Faculty: One of my favourite faculty members is Trishna Ma’am from the Sociology department. She’s genuinely kind and supportive and really stands out for how approachable she is. What I like most about her is that she doesn’t just stick to theory – she encourages students to explore real-world topics and helps us a lot with projects and surveys we want to conduct. She makes learning feel more meaningful and practical. Her teaching style is simple yet effective and she makes sure everyone is on the same page. Even outside class she’s always open to clearing doubts and guiding us whenever we feel stuck. The way she interacts with students creates a comfortable space where we’re not afraid to ask questions or express our thoughts. Other faculty members are also helpful when it comes to academics. They do take the time to explain concepts again if you’re confused and many of them are well-qualified with good subject knowledge. Overall, having teachers like Trishna Ma’am makes a big difference in the college experience. It’s easier to stay motivated when your teachers actually care about your growth.
