The gym is available until 9 PM for hostel students. Hostel gates usually close at 9:30 PM, and students are expected to be inside by then. Outside the campus, hangout spots like DB Mall, 10 No. Market, and Bake n Shake are popular among students for late evening outings. These places are usually safe and well-lit, with local police patrolling regularly, which adds to the security. Although it’s not a party-centric area, students enjoy chilling at cafes and tea stalls near the campus, especially after exams or during weekends. Placements: I had applied to LNCT Bhopal, TIT Bhopal, and Oriental College. I chose LNCT because of its better placement records, infrastructure, and industry collaborations. LNCT is known for having top recruiters like TCS, Wipro, and Infosys visit the campus every year. The faculty is also more experienced compared to other colleges I considered. I didn’t face rejection from any other college, but LNCT stood out in terms of reputation and reviews from seniors. The admission process was simple and based on JEE Main and 12th board results under DTE MP counselling. I secured a seat in the first round based on my JEE Main score. The cutoff for CSE at LNCT is generally high due to high demand, but I managed to qualify with a decent rank. Overall, the admission process was smooth, and I received proper guidance from the college during counselling.
