I feel it's okay to stay in Gandhi as it is centrally located in city and has direct access to hospital hence making it easier for postings. The college campus is quite old fashioned and smaller in area size. The good things are you have good faculty and resources to take use of. The hostel and mess are quite below average needs better infrastructure

Campus Facilities: The campus is very small in size compared to many other medical colleges in India. The lectures are usually conducted by faculty in a boring PPT presentation mostly. But sometimes few professors prefer interactive sessions

Campus Life: College life is amazing as you get to experience a wide range of people to get connected. You can have good relations with both seniors and juniors helping each other. So, it makes life easier.

Faculty: Faculty are mostly not very approachable using PPT presentations for most of the lectures. But Post Graduates help us out in mentoring and solving our doubts

Placements: It's mandatory for every student to take part in one year internship in the same hospital to get a pay around 25k per month as stipend. After internship most students get into Post graduation and get pretty high stipend ranging upto 200000 per month.
